Color Grade

D (colorless) → G (near colorless) → J (faint yellow). The grade you choose depends on setting metal color and personal preference — not just aesthetics.

💡 Concierge Tip: In white gold or platinum, choose G or H — indistinguishable from D at 20–30% savings. In yellow or rose gold, J or K color looks warm and intentional.

Clarity Grade

Flawless (IF) → VS1 → SI1 → I1. For lab-grown diamonds, SI1 is almost always eye-clean — saving you hundreds over VVS grades.

💡 Concierge Tip: Our sweet spot is VS1–SI1 for lab-grown. These are eye-clean 95% of the time and can save $200–$800 over VVS grades on the same stone.

Cut Quality

Cut is the single most important factor for brilliance. An Ideal-cut G-color diamond will outperform a D-color Good-cut every time.
